16 листопада 2024 року, напередодні Міжнародного дня студента, студенти Європейського університету долучилися до знакової зустрічі з Президентом України Володимиром Зеленським. Захід об’єднав представників органів студентського самоврядування з понад 200 університетів України, наголошуючи на важливості єдності української молоді.
Президент про студентство та майбутнє країни
Під час зустрічі Володимир Зеленський привітав студентів зі святом, підкресливши, що молодь є майбутнім держави. Він висловив вдячність студентам, які сьогодні боронять Україну, за їхню мужність, стійкість та патріотизм.
«Для нас єдність усієї молоді, хоч де був би сьогодні студент, дуже важлива. Це невід’ємна частина міцності нашої держави», – зазначив Глава держави.
Президент також поділився спогадами про власні студентські роки та важливість спільних цінностей серед молоді.
На зустрічі були підняті важливі теми:
Залучення молоді до державних інституцій: Президент підкреслив необхідність залучення студентів до роботи у державних структурах, наголосивши, що молодь має енергію і потенціал для змін.
Обов’язкове створення військових кафедр: Після війни у всіх університетах планується відкриття військових кафедр для зміцнення патріотичного виховання та готовності молоді до викликів.
Інноваційні проєкти та законодавчі ініціативи: Голова Експертної ради студентства Ілля Бєляк презентував проєкти, що включають створення Національної ради студентів, посади урядового уповноваженого з прав здобувачів освіти, а також мережу молодіжних рад у світі в рамках проєкту UA – Ukrainians Abroad.
Представники Студентської Ради Європейського університету стали частиною цієї важливої події, демонструючи свою активну позицію та готовність долучатися до змін в українському суспільстві. Лідери студентського самоврядування університету поділилися своїм баченням і вкотре довели, що українська молодь готова до нових викликів і ініціатив.
Молодь – це рушій змін, а Європейський університет гордий, що його студенти є частиною цього великого процесу!

Representatives of the European University Student Council Meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
On November 16, 2024, on the eve of International Students’ Day, students of the European University participated in a significant meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The event brought together representatives of student self-governance from over 200 universities across Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of unity among Ukrainian youth.
The President of Students and the Country’s Future
During the meeting, President Zelenskyy congratulated students and highlighted that youth are the nation’s future. He thanked students defending Ukraine today for their courage, resilience, and patriotism.
“For us, the unity of all youth, no matter where students are today, is paramount. This unity is an integral part of the strength of our state,” said the President.
