21 листопада 2024 у День Гідності та Свободи України студенти ПВНЗ “Європейський університет” разом із завідувачкою кафедри соціально-гуманітарних дисциплін к. і. н. Хоменко Оленою Олександрівною вшанували героїв Революції Гідності та Помаранчевої революції.
Ці події й дати символізують боротьбу українців за незалежність, права і свободи. Студенти зібралися на молебні біля екуменічного храму Святого Архистратига Михаїла на Алеї Героїв Небесної Сотні, вшановуючи пам’ять Героїв, які віддали свої життя за свободу і європейське майбутнє України. Така акція – це не лише жест вдячності, а й нагадування про важливість єдності, принципів демократії та боротьби за справедливість.
Після молебню студенти відвідали фотовиставку, присвячену подіям Революції Гідності. Світлини відобразили найважливіші моменти тих подій, емоції та незламність українців у боротьбі за свободу.
Незважаючи на погодні умови, повітряні тривоги студенти вшанували наших Героїв, бо це не просто захід, це частина історичної пам’яті, культури та нашої історії. Цей день нагадує про вагу тих ідеалів, за які боролися Герої. Наш обов’язок — зберегти пам’ять про їхній подвиг і продовжувати рух до демократичного майбутнього.
Пам’ятаємо. Шануємо. Продовжуємо боротьбу.

On November 21, 2024, the Day of Dignity and Freedom in Ukraine, students of the Private Higher Educational Institution “European University,” together with the Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, PhD in History Olena Oleksandrivna Khomenko, honored the heroes of the Revolution of Dignity and the Orange Revolution.
These events and dates symbolize the Ukrainian struggle for independence, rights, and freedoms. The students gathered for a prayer service near the Ecumenical Church of St. Michael the Archangel on the Alley of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, commemorating the memory of the Heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine’s freedom and European future. This action was a gesture of gratitude and a reminder of the importance of unity, democratic principles, and the fight for justice.
After the prayer service, the students visited a photo exhibition dedicated to the events of the Revolution of Dignity. The photographs captured the most significant moments of those events, the emotions, and the resilience of Ukrainians in their fight for freedom.
Despite weather conditions and air raid alerts, the students paid tribute to our Heroes because this is not just an event but a part of historical memory, culture, and history. This day serves as a reminder of the weight of the ideals the Heroes fought for. We must preserve the memory of their sacrifice and continue the movement toward a democratic future.
We remember. We honor. We continue the fight.
