18 лютого 2025 року ректор Європейського університету Олена Іванівна Тимошенко взяла участь у засіданні Громадської організації «Спілка ректорів закладів вищої освіти України», що відбулося в Київському національному університеті імені Тараса Шевченка.
Основні питання порядку денного:
– Підсумки роботи Спілки ректорів за 2024 рік – доповідь Голови Спілки Петра Кулікова.
– Вдосконалення діяльності Спілки та внесення змін до Статуту.
– Звіт Ради проректорів з міжнародного співробітництва щодо діяльності у 2024 році.
Серед названих питань обговорювалась також проблема конкурентоспроможності українських ЗВО в порівнянні з іноземними закладами освіти, які запрошують українських випускників на пільгових умовах.
У ході засідання обговорювалися ключові виклики, які стоять перед закладами вищої освіти в Україні в умовах демографічного спаду, можливі шляхи їхнього вирішення та стратегічні напрямки розвитку освітнього простору в умовах сучасних реалій.
Європейський університет підтримує ініціативи, спрямовані на вдосконалення діяльності вищої освіти, розвиток міжнародного співробітництва та впровадження інноваційних підходів у навчальний процес.

Rector of the European University Participated in the Meeting of the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine
On February 18, 2025, Olena Ivanivna Tymoshenko, Rector of the European University, took part in the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine’s meeting held at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Key Agenda Items:
– Report on the Union’s activities in 2024 – presented by Chairman Petro Kulikov.
– Enhancing the Union’s operations and amendments to its Statute.
Annual report of the Council of Vice-Rectors for International Cooperation.
The discussion also addressed the competitiveness of Ukrainian universities compared to foreign institutions that attract Ukrainian graduates with preferential admission conditions.
During the meeting, participants explored the main challenges facing higher education in Ukraine, particularly in the context of demographic decline. They discussed potential solutions and strategic directions for developing the educational space in today’s realities.
The European University supports initiatives to improve higher education, expand international cooperation, and integrate innovative approaches into the learning process.
